We all know that cookies are not that healthy, they contain a lethal mix of fat and sugar and often chocolate, but that still does not put us off eating these delightful, tasty snacks. However, I had a very nasty experience with one recently. I had heard horror stories about people finding mice and fingers, plasters and flies in their food from various establishments but i always thought it was made up to sell newspapers. So imagine my horror when I bit into my cookie to find that it was stale. Not only did it stick to my teeth as it had gone horribly gooey but the lemon flavour was slightly dusty and strange. I assumed that it would be fine but found myself rushing off to puke within minutes of eating it. Fernandos American classic bakery has been identified as a possible place which may not produce the healthiest of cookies and muffins. I had a expierience like this last week. I was upstate in a convenient store and bought a Blueberry Muffin under the “american classic ” brand. When I bit in to it i thought I hit something hard. At first it looked to be a stem from the Blueberries but at closer look it was a small sliver of wood. I will never buy this brand of baked goods again.

how bizarre to construct a blog solely to highlight the fact that stuff has been found in cakes from one supplier…
