cafe-list.com is a blog designed for tea and coffee enthusiats. Although the blog was the brown colour of coffee I was a little disappointed with the design - I thought that it could easily have been more imaginative and cheerful. I woudl have liked to have seen more pictures. However, the information on the blog was great. The articles were informative and well-written and had lots of detail. There were quite a few advertisemenst on the site but not too many to detract from the main articles. You can even get coffee recipes sent to you by email if you fill out your details.
Datecraft blog is all about World of Worldcraft. There is a main website and this is the blog which accompanies it. The first thing that struck me was the design. Unlike a lot of blogs the design was thoughful and relevant to the theme, it made the page stand out and was fun and enticing. The articles tend to be quite short or have links to other websites. They all contain relevant news about WoW and links to articles of interest to WoW users. Although there were adverts between the posts I foud that they were not too overpowering and did not spoil the look of the blog.
Realtavel.com is a wonderful site for those that like to travel and like to look at pictures and stories of those who travel. The site is fairy large with many sections that you may find enjoyable. If your like me then you will look at other people trips to use as a trip planner for yourself.
I like to see how others people trips have gone and then see if I want to visit the same places they did or use there itinerary that they used. They have excellent Travel Blogs as well as lovely Travel Photo’s for you to look at. Every time I go there I get jealous and want to go on holidays, but I am stuck and have to go to work so it depresses me.
Web Freebies is a blog which claims that it is the best collection of web freebies. From the title I expected it to be actual product giveaways but in fact it was more useful than that. Most of the articles were about free services for website owners such as free links or link exchanges, free search engine submission and free web hosting. The articles were long and detailed with a description of what the service claims to offer and then a review of how the blogger actually found the service when he signed up to it i.e. whether it actually provided the service that it claimed. There were also shorter articles reviewing sites where you can earn money such as money for blogging, money for chatting and money for rating. I sometimes found the way the articles were written made then a little tricky to read but the information was still very valuable. The blog could benefit from being categorised so that you can go straight to the section you are interested in perhaps making money on line or free links. It would have been brightened up by a few more pictures but overall it was interesting and informative and had no sponsored articles and very few advertisements which made it easier to find relevant information.
Macobex : Infohunter is a general blog on a variety of topics. It has articles about new things that the author has come across such as games, downloads, hacks, money and anime. There are not that many articles as it is quite a new blog but I am sure it will grow quickly as he seems to be writing quite a few new articles each day. I like the way that he finds an image to accompany each article to make the blog more interesting to look at. It was also good that it did not have any sponsored posts or many advertisements so there was nothing to put you off reading his articles.
Movie Reviews is a blog which have reviews, clips and trailers of movies. The articles tend to have a synopsis of the film, then a review with pictures and videos inserted throughout. I really liked this approach, it was detailed, useful and made them fun to read. What did strike me was the bias towards reviews of horror films. This is fine if you like that sort of thing but for a general eview site, I felt that it would have been better if there had been a better spread of genres. I liked the layout of the site but in places some of the headings did not seem to line up properly which was a bit odd. However, overall I liked the site and the attention to detail.
Marketing Crossing is a website which lists marketing jobs. There is a useful map of the United States on the home page and you can select the state that you are interested in working in and it will list all of the jobs they have listed in that area. This is a great feature which allows you to quickly see what work is available, but if you prefer you can also search by location and keyword to find specific roles. As they do not charge companies to list their job positions on the website there is more likely to be a bigger range than on similar sites which do charge and they also say that they hunt themselves for positions to list on the site too. Whne you look at the specific job details it has a description of the role and instruction on how to apply as well as details and links about the company - although some of these features are only available to registered members. I wasn’t keen on the design of the site - I thought it was a bit plain but if I was looking for a marketing job this wouldn’t bother me, the fact that the job detail and search facilities are so good would by far outweigh this.
Josh Q Public is a sports blog. It is written by a New Yorker and the articles are mainly about baseball. What I liked about the blog and articles generally is that they were varied - some had videos, some pictures and text, some long some short which kept it interesting. The articles were well-written bt I cannot comment on ho wgood the content was as I knw nothing about baseball! It did seem detailed and interesting to me - if thats any help! the blog is regularly updated and does not have too many advertisements or sponsored posts - it looks like a genuine fan site - where the author is not doing it for what he can get out of it but because he wants to express his opinions about the sport.

Whether it is trendy internet news, a serious discussion, or advertising through online connections, social networking has become a preferred and popular mode of online marketing these days. There are millions of people who are net addicted and very well aware of this increasing social networking mania. Some of them find it very cool whereas few of these folks call it crap and just stupid.
Well, we can’t deny the upcoming positive consequences of these online connections and social networking. Many people like me have reviewed them as a winning way of marketing. Because people get known to each other, this kind of marketing affects us personally and when suggesting a new product or service, you truly believe it is a recommendation from someone you “know”.
For those who believe This is just stupid and a passing phase, think again!
